Tagoot

In a small village, there was a legend about a creature called Tagoot. Villagers whispered that Tagoot lived in the dark forest nearby. They said it could change its shape and had glowing red eyes. Every night, when the moon was high, strange sounds echoed from the woods.

One evening, a curious boy named Amir decided to explore the forest. He had heard the stories but didn’t believe them. As he stepped into the trees, the air grew cold, and the shadows seemed to move. Amir felt a chill down his spine but pushed on, determined to prove the tales wrong.

Suddenly, he heard a rustle behind him. Turning around, he saw a figure—a tall, dark shape with red eyes shining brightly. It transformed into a wolf, then a shadowy mist. Amir’s heart raced. He wanted to run, but his feet felt heavy.

The creature whispered his name in a voice that sounded like a thousand echoes. “Join me, Amir,” it said. He felt a strange pull towards it, a mix of fear and curiosity.

In the village, they still tell the story of Amir, who ventured into the forest and never returned. They say Tagoot claimed him as its own.
